David Gregory, CPA, CADavid is the founding Partner of the firm, first opening its doors in 1997. David has been a trusted business advisor since 1987, developed during his tenure in public practice as a CA and through building businesses from start-up to IPO as a CFO. Over the years, he has been actively involved in the Tri-Cities community through sitting on various not for profit boards and during his time as a Volunteer Firefighter and Anmore District Chief for the Sasamat Volunteer Fire Department, which he has held up until 2019. In his free time, David enjoys traveling, hiking and biking. David graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and articled with a national CA firm to obtain his Chartered Accountant designation in 1991. David has extensive experience in tax and estate planning as well as providing business consulting services to small to medium size businesses. |
Gary Yick, CPA, CAGary is a Partner at the firm and enjoys working with entrepreneurs and owner-managed businesses as a trusted advisor. With over 17 years of experience, his expertise include assurance, accounting and taxation services. Gary assists companies to better understand their business and navigates them through the constant changes in the Canadian tax laws. He is passionate about helping clients grow their businesses, from proprietorships to corporations, and assisting clients pass their business on to the next generation. When not taking care of his two growing boys, Gary stays competitive through kickboxing and playing badminton. Gary graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2005 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Gary has completed his CA designation in 2008 while articling with a mid-size national firm. Looking to work somewhere closer to where he grew up, he joined Gregory & Associates in 2008 and became Partner in 2012. Gary has also completed the CPA In-Depth Tax Course. |
Justin Brown, CPA, CAJustin brings over 11 years of experience in business consulting, auditing, and tax planning in his role as a Partner in the firm. He is passionate about partnering with clients in building their businesses, helping them achieve success in their financial and life goals. Justin focuses on pairing innovations in technology with his financial expertise in accounting to build effective business systems that allow entrepreneurs to concentrate on the things that matter in their lives. Justin believes that “Financial success is a byproduct of passion, skill sets, and focused effort in serving your customers and clients to your best” Proudly raised in BC, Justin developed leadership skills in over a decade of training in competitive hockey. After obtaining his CA designation in 2014, he spends his time training in the gym and playing tennis, and is passionate about adventures in the outdoors with friends and family – from overnight backpacking, kayaking and fishing, to open-fire grilled dinners on a campfire. He looks forward to one day seeing the northern lights from Mt. Denali, Alaska, horseback riding in Utah, and viewing the wildlife that live in the jungles of Costa Rica. |
Richard Lee, CPARichard is a Partner at the firm and focuses on working with owner managed businesses including real estate, construction and professional service companies. Richard excels in listening to his clients’ needs and providing practical tax planning to help reach their goals. Detail and people oriented, he applies his expertise in new accounting systems to build clear solutions and simplify the year end process. In addition to his work, Richard is passionate about mentoring CPA students through the education program. He has also sat on various not-for-profit boards in the past as their Treasurer. In his free time Richard loves to travel and explore other cultures. Born and raised in BC, Richard graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2014 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and articled with a large regional CPA firm to obtain his designation in 2016. Adelya Arslanova, CPAAdelya is a CPA at the firm and provides assurance and taxation services for a variety of industries. Her high attention to detail and love of working with numbers made becoming a CPA a clear career path. Competing through sports from an early age, Adelya learned to work in teams to stay organized in high pressure situations. Adelya is actively involved with training staff on a daily basis and contributes to the success of the firm. In her free time, Adelya enjoys playing Frisbee in the summer and downhill skiing in the winter. Adelya graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Corina Debreczeni, CPACorina is a CPA at the firm with over five years of accounting experience. What Corina loves most about her profession are the clients she gets to collaborate and work with.
