David Gregory

David Gregory, CPA, CA

David graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and articled with a national CA firm to obtain his Chartered Accountant designation in 1991. David has worked in both public practice and industry since 1987, with experience in both building businesses and assisting a wide variety of clients.

David has been on a variety of not-for-profit boards. David has extensive experience in the areas of tax and estate planning as well as providing business consulting services to small to medium size businesses.

Gary Yick

Gary Yick, CPA, CA

Gary graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2005 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Gary has completed his CA designation in 2008 while articling with a mid-size national firm.

Gary enjoys working with entrepreneurs and owner managed business to get them to better understand their business and has experience in the following areas of public practice: assurance, accounting and taxation services.

Gary served on the Board of Directors as treasurer with Badminton BC for the 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 fiscal years.

Justin Brown

Justin Brown, CPA, CA

Justin graduated in 2013 from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, concentrating in Accounting. In 2014 he completed his Chartered Accountant designation after articling with the firm since 2011.

Justin has developed a background in providing taxation and assurance services to small and mid-size business entrepreneurs, as well as personal taxation services for clients.

Currently, Justin is also the Director of Finance for health care provider Buchanan Lodge.

RichardnLee

Richard Lee, CPA

Richard graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2014 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and completed his CPA designation in 2016, articling with a large regional accounting firm. During his time in public practice, Richard specialized in working with non-for-profits, owner managed businesses, real estate and professional service companies to assist with their assurance, taxation and accounting needs.

In his spare time, Richard enjoys visiting cafes and discussing personal finance with others.

Danielle Fritz

Danielle Fritz, Staff Associate/Office Manager

Danielle has been with Gregory, Yick and Associates since 2005 and brings to the firm bookkeeping experience and has considerable knowledge of QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Simply Accounting, Sage 50, Payroll, WCB and GST/HST Remittances.

She hosts our one on one QuickBooks training session and refresher courses for new and existing clients.

Ailsa Gordon

Ailsa Gordon, Staff Associate

Ailsa has been with Gregory, Yick and Associates since 2011 and brings to the firm 14 years of bookkeeping and tax preparation experience. She has considerable knowledge of QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Simply Accounting and Sage 50 and recently completed a QuickBooks Online Advanced Training Course. Ailsa specializes in assisting clients with creating new bookkeeping files tailored to their needs and helping others to adjust to more proficient systems.

Kristen Van Der Pauw

Kristen Van Der Pauw, Staff Associate

Kristen graduated in 2011 from the University of the Fraser Valley and has taken many courses in Business and Accounting. She brings to the firm experience and knowledge of Quickbooks, payroll, WCB and GST/HST Remittances. With past administrative and sales roles, Kristen makes sure all necessary paper work is processed in a timely manner and provides administrative support for all visitors and clients at Gregory, Yick & Associates.

Michael Lin

Michael Lin, Staff Associate

Michael graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. Through his experiences working in industry and also educational fields, Michael has transitioned to public practice at Gregory, Yick & Associates, where he enjoys helping others with accounting services.

Michael utilizes his strong technological proficiency to better provide assurance and taxation services as he is now articling and pursuing his Chartered Professional Accountant designation at the firm.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys playing active sports such as basketball and hunting around for the best deals.

Julia Nagai

Julia Nagai, Administrative Assistant

Julia graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley in 2014 and has taken courses in Business and Administration. She has experience with QuickBooks and payroll. Her past roles includes sales and customer service and she is taking those skills to help provide support for all customers and clients at Gregory, Yick & Associates.
